Nonprofit event photography & video, NYC

Gala photos that keep working after the gala.

Your event photos have more jobs than any other images your nonprofit owns. The thank-you email, the impact report, the grant application, next year's save-the-date, they all pull from the same night. We cover galas, fundraisers, and donor events across New York City with that whole year in mind, and our pricing is published so you can budget before you ever email us.

Shot for the development office, not just the album.

Nonprofit event photography is coverage planned around how a development team actually uses images: donor thank-yous in the first week, grant reports and impact pages through the year, and recruitment for the next event. The recap album still happens. It's just not the whole job.

Donor communications

Photos of your donors enjoying the night they paid for: named table shots, honoree moments, the room at its best. These are the images your thank-you emails and year-end appeals actually need, and they age fast, so delivery is planned around your follow-up window.

Grant reports and impact pages

Funders read a lot of numbers. A real photo of your program, your people, and your community at work does what a paragraph can't. We shoot with the grant writer in mind, not just the event chair.

Next year's campaign

The save-the-date, the sponsorship deck, the website hero for the next event, all of it gets built from this year's coverage. One well-shot gala quietly becomes twelve months of campaign material.

Published pricing, sized to your program.

The same event coverage packages we publish for every client, because a benefit dinner runs on the same crew hours as a corporate dinner. Every option includes full editing, online delivery, and commercial usage rights, your images can go anywhere your mission does.

About the nonprofit rate question.

You'll ask, so here's the straight answer: there's no separate nonprofit rate card, because crew hours and editing time cost the same whatever the sign on the door says. What genuinely moves a price is scope: a tighter shot list, flexible scheduling, and combining several needs (board headshots, program photos, event coverage) into one booking instead of three. Nonprofits usually have more of that room than corporate clients do, and we'll help you use it. The full reasoning is written out in our post on nonprofit and startup pricing, and if your fiscal year shapes the timing, booking around a nonprofit's budget cycle covers that too.

The fundraiser we can show you the math on.

A New Jersey nonprofit brought us in for full-day coverage of their annual golf tournament fundraiser: 300+ attendees, about $200K raised. A two-person crew shot stakeholder interviews and a full day of b-roll, and delivered a 1–2 minute promotional video plus a raw footage library built to feed next year's recruitment, donor cultivation, and grant materials.

Who books this.

Development directors

You need the images before the thank-you window closes and the video before the next appeal goes out. We plan delivery around your calendar, and you get a written quote you can drop straight into the event budget.

Event chairs and gala committees

You're volunteering your evenings to make this night happen. Our job is to be the one vendor you never have to chase, we show up knowing the run of show, find the honorees and the board without being walked around, and stay out of the program's way.

Communications managers

You inherit the files when the night ends. Everything arrives edited, organized, and cleared for commercial use, so the recap post, the newsletter, and the website refresh don't stall waiting on permissions or re-edits.

The events we cover.

If donors, members, or funders are in the room, the coverage matters. These are the formats a development calendar runs on, and each one asks something different of the camera.

Galas and benefit dinners

Cocktail hour arrivals, table shots, the honoree on stage, the paddle raise. Low-light ballroom work is its own craft, we bring the lighting and the judgment to handle it without turning your dinner into a photo shoot.

Donor events and receptions

Breakfasts, cultivation receptions, site visits, and small thank-you gatherings. Quieter rooms where the photographer's manner matters as much as the camera, guests should barely register we're there.

Annual meetings and program events

The board, the staff, the mission in action. These are the images your grant reports and impact pages run on, and they're often the hardest to find when a deadline hits. One session a year keeps the well full.

A straightforward way to book.

The first step is one short form. The rest can stay in email, which means everything is in writing for your board and your files.
