About the Core Visuals Journal

The journal exists for people trying to decide on event coverage, headshots, or brand content in NYC, and who want a real sense of how it works and what it costs before they reach out. It's the same information we'd give you on a call, written down: what a shoot day looks like, what different formats cost, and how the logistics of a specific NYC venue or office actually play out.

The material comes from actual shoot experience: what a conference day looks like start to finish, how a headshot session moves through a day of employees, what NYC venues and buildings mean for setup and timing. Pricing referenced in posts is checked against our own current price list and process, not pulled from industry averages or guessed at for the sake of a round number.

We keep it honest a few ways. We don't invent client names, awards, or statistics, and we don't dress up a post with a made-up case study to make a point land. Prices get checked against our own documents before a post goes live. Posts Vlad wrote or personally reviewed carry his byline; the rest are published by Core Visuals NYC.

Images in the journal are a mix of our own photographs, licensed stock, and AI-generated illustrations used for editorial purposes. If a number or a claim in a post looks off, tell us. We'd rather fix it than leave it standing.
